Search for salvage cars for sale with 150 miles of Denver, CO

If you have a salvage title car you can sell it as is either for parts or to let someone else repair.
If you plan to rebuild a salvage title in Colorado you will need to do a few things first:
1. Fill out a form called Salvage Title Statement of Fact found here: http://www.revenue.state.co.us/mv_dir/formspdf/2424.pdf
2.have the words “Rebuilt From Salvage” etched on the vehicle, usually this is placed on edge of the drivers door where the door closes (usually the VIN # is here too).
3.You’ll need to take the car or truck to a law enforcement officer to have it inspected to make sure it’s road worthy, note that there is a small fee for this service. The law enforcement officer will need to fill out this form for you: http://www.revenue.state.co.us/mv_dir/formspdf/2395.pdf
4. You’ll need to take your forms to a Titles and Registrations Office in Colorado along with any receipts and paperwork for parts used on the vehicle, all forms and the inspection approval.

A title labeled “Rebuilt from Salvage” will be issued upon completion of the above.

Please note: Per Colorado state law, if you’re planning to sell your once salvage title car that has since been rebuilt you will need to disclose to the buyer that the car was a salvage title at one time.
